 Instructions Congratulations, you're hired. I'm sorry. Welcome to your new position at Yet Another WAN Incorporated (YAWN). As part of the YAWN team, you need to fix connectivity to our customer sites. Unfortunately, our customers don't like to budget for upgrades, so you'll need to get their "legacy" technologies connected to the YAWN network. You must successfully set up their existing hardware and make a working connection! There are two challenges, each increasing in difficulty. Details on the hardware and specific requirements will be posted on the challenge page. The YAWN Network Monitoring System (NMS) dashboard will track your progress throughout the challenge. The YAWN executives like to see the dashboard turn green: your success is contingent on getting all the client services connected! The signup sheet for the Build Your Own ISP challenge is at the Tech/CTF table in the chillout room! Rules 1. Team size is limited to 5. 2. No outside equipment may be used. Only the equipment provided during the challenge may be used. 3. Teams are judged based on time to complete a working system. 4. Teams must preregister for a timeslot. 5. The challenge is complete when the NMS dashboard indicates all services are green. |
